development of Akwa Ibom state and its people cannot be a one man show, It must
be a collective effort, borne out of the understanding that this is a
responsibility and thrust from Akwa Abasi our king and maker.
It is based
on this premise that Dakkada In Diaspora
came into existence.
The Dakkada
movement was originally created by the present Governor of Akwa Ibom state, as
a clarion call, calling on all Akwaibomites to arise to the responsibility of
building and developing Akwa Ibom state. .
Dakkada in Diaspora takes this movement to the next
level through the mobilization of its citizens around the world. Created by Gold Help Owen a true Dakkada Ambassador,
Dakkada in Diaspora seeks to harness brilliant, outstanding and performing Akwaibomites
everywhere in the world.
The purpose
is such that with their expertise, skills and competence, we can form a united
front and a formidable force for the development of Akwa Ibom State.
Activities:
Our
activities are anchored on the Dakkada overall objectives, programmes and time
table. Hence we shall be:
A Collating
profiles of able Dakkadites for programmes planning and strategic meetings
B. Documenting
the progress of Akwaibomites round the world
C. Facilitate
and connect each Dakkadites with a view to form partnership and collaboration
D. Connect
worthy Dakkadites directly to the government for support and encouragement.
E Provide
a committed Think Tank for the development of Akwa Ibom State.
